WOW!  - Here is some great news for a young college student from Taos, Antonia Bowden.

Antonia is a freshman student and athlete at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.

While growing up in Taos, Antonia earned a scholarship to an east coast prep school (Kent) based on her academics and athletics. While excelling in ice hockey as well as her academics, she learned another sport, rowing.  (Strong legs on hockey players and very competitive instincts). While at Kent, Antonia earned a college scholarship for her abilities, and now attends Trinity College.

She grew up here and was part of our Taos Youth Hockey program for many years. Her mother, Annette Bowden, was President of our hockey program and attended the Championships in California this past weekend. Her father is Jalmar Bowden, and also coached and volunteered with us for many years.
